Reverend Father:
Loved and respected priest of the Diocese of Christchurch for 54 years. Passed away peacefully at Nazareth House, Christchurch, on Thursday, December 20, 2018. Requiescat in Pace
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary's ProCathedral, 373 Manchester St, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Friday), at 11.00am, followed by interment at the Waimairi Cemetery, Grahams Road. Rosary will be recited at the Nazareth House Chapel, 220 Brougham Street, Christchurch, This Day (Thursday), at 6.30pm.

More than 50 years ago Father John prepared us for marriage, brought Chris into the church, married us and from that day on a treasured loving relationship has existed. He has been a best friend, ally and on one occassion a justified accomplice.
His kindness and practical help to others was Jesus at work through him.
To the family our sincere sympathy. Regretably illness prevents us travelling to Chch.

Reverend Father: BEM
Passed away peacefully on December 20, 2018, at Nazareth House, aged 85 years. Much loved son of the late Patrick and Miriam, loved and respected brother and brother-in-law of Terry (deceased) and Jenny, Peter and Janet, and Trish and Ramon Farmer. Loved uncle of Alex, John and Tom; Michael, Sarah, Rebecca and Clare; and Michele, Joanne and Victoria, and a loving great-uncle of his great-nephews and great-nieces. Sincere thanks to Margaret McGowan, the staff at Anthony Wilding, and the Sisters and staff at Nazareth House, for their wonderful care.
