John MOYLE Obituary
John passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on December 3, 2022, aged 75. He was the dearly loved and loving husband of Gloria, dearly loved and loving father and father-in-law of Elizabeth and Elliot Payne and the late Edward, devoted grandfather of Atticus and Magdalena Payne, who loved him so much, and loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Averil and Anne and Grahame Bately. A Funeral Mass for John will be held at 1.30pm, Tomorrow (Thursday), at St Michael and All Angels Church, corner of Durham Street and Oxford Terrace, Christchurch.

Thinking of you Gloria and so sad for your loss. I remember John from way back when he introduced me to Mac computers and I´m still a fan. He was a wonderful asset to Marian College. RIP

We little knew the day that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn´t go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one
the chain will link again.

We met John in 2002 in the Real Estate Industry and can with hand on heart say he was the most genuine, honest wonderful man we had occasion to become friendly with.
