Peacefully, at Chatswood, on December 21, 2014. Dearly loved husband of Rosemary, loving father of Richard and Janine, Libby and Hamish, Steph and Aaron, treasured grandfather of Andrew and Laura, Rebekah and Sarah, Ngaio and Vue. Our grateful thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Chatswood. A private family service has already been held.

Rosemary and family, Les and I were shocked to hear of John's passing. We knew he was not so well and that eventually he would go "home", but we were still shocked. He was a wonderful man, generous, kind and always ready with a story. We will miss him.
