John MCNEILL Obituary
Passed on February 3, 2020. Much loved husband of Shirley, loved brother of David and Pam. Loving Dad to Mark, Kim, Anthony, Jonathan and Fiona, and loved father-in-law. Loving Grandad John to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him so much joy. Thanks to the staff at the Oaks Rest Home for their wonderful care over the last 2 weeks. Requiem mass will be held at St Peters and Paul Parish Church, Nicholls Road, Halswell, on Monday, February 10 at 1.00pm.

my sincere condolences to Shirley and family. John was a true gentleman and was such a supportive and helpful President during my first year as Secretary of Halswell Lions. His enthusiasm for life was infectious. Such a loss.

John was a truly loved and respected friend to both my husband Ian dec and myself. So many fond memories with the many hours we spent with our music and singing, and with Halswell Lions and your singing in my Mrs Brown &Her Boys Irish band. so much fun and your beautiful voice, especially Danny Boy. Always so kind, always a gentleman with a great sense of humour.
