Peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on October 13, 2023, in his 84 year. Dearly loved husband of the late Llana and dearly loved partner of Noeline O'Carroll. Loved father and father-in-law of Tanya and Dean Grooby, Sheree and Paul Bailey, Lee and Colin Wright. Loved Grandad of Brittany, Brieana, Madison, Alix, Kenzie, Brad and their partners. Loved Johnny of Amy and Jason Amtman, Kane (dec) Zara and Mitchell and Blake. Rebecca and Jared Tito, Chris and Aimee O'Carroll and Liam. John was a loved brother and brother-in-law and uncle to his nieces and nephews. A private cremation has been held, all welcome to join the family in celebration of John's life at Richmond Club; 75 London Street, Richmond Christchurch on Wednesday October 18 at 2.00pm.
