John McCASKEY Obituary

On Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Burwood Hospital, aged 78 years. John passed away peacefully in his beloved wife Joy's arms after a short illness. John was a loving, caring husband of Joy McCaskey, cherished brother of Pauline and Peter, loved father of Dean and Glenn, treasured stepfather of Ashton and Ngaio, Brendon and Charlotte, and Cameron, and adored grandfather of Lewis, Bella, Millie, Josh, Jack, Elliott, Katie and Poppy. John's funeral service will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London or Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Friday, September 12, at 1.00pm. A celebration of John's life will follow at 3.00pm at Club Redcliffs, 9 James Street, Redcliffs, Christchurch.
