Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Stokeswood Rest Home, Lower Hutt. Dearly loved husband of Betty for 70 years. Adored Dad to Lance and Lynn (England), Derek and Keiron (Christchurch), Philip (Greymouth), Liane (Upper Hutt), and Rick and Sheree (Tauranga). Treasured grandad to Kirsty, Samuel; Greg, Sacha, and John; and Great-grandad to Joshua, Haydn, Logan, Eddie, Heidi, Bess, and Alex.

A Service for John will be held in the Croft Centennial Chapel, 2 Osborne Place (off Queens Drive), Lower Hutt, on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 1.00pm. Those unable to attend John's Service can view the livestream through the Croft Funeral Home Website.
