Dear Margaret and family, I was sorry to hear about Ashley's passing. I have such fond memories of summers on the blueberry farm, I always enjoyed working with Ashley on the grading machine. He was a lovely, kind man. My thoughts are with you all. Megan Hamilton (Greenwood).

Deepest sympathy Margaret and family, my contact with Ashley goes back to the 1980's when I worked for the Rural Bank. A true gentleman, whose company I enjoyed and a man of sensible old fashioned values.

Dear Margaret - we were sad to read of Ashley's death today. Ray has great memories of Ash when they were in CMT together. He has told me lots of stories today of their fun in the Army.
I remember you and Ashley when you were such good friends of Mum and Dad - May and Bert Geddes. They loved when you visited, and when they called to see you on your blue berry farm.
Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Sue (nee Geddes) and Ray Simms, Queenstown
