Died peacefully on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Christchurch Public Hospital, aged 89. Dearly loved husband of Judy. Loved father and father-in-law of Susan, Dinah & Brent, and Rob & Lucy. Loving grandfather of Isabella, Phoebe, Gemma, Evie, Darcy and Paddy. Messages to the Laidlaw family c/- PO Box 41058, Christchurch 8247. According to John's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

Sorry to see John has passed away, I knew John through shearing at Glenstrae. John was a very good boss and it was a pleasure to work there. Also had a bit to do with him at the show etc. regards. Winston
