KING,
John William Godfrey:
Late of Lyttelton and Alpine View Lifestyle Village. On February 28, 2018, at Diana Isaac Palliative Care, Christchurch, aged 78 years. Much loved cherished husband of Andrea, loved father of the late Andre John King, loved brother and brother-in-law of Jim and Julie, Jeffery (Sydney), Christopher and Janet Stokes (Christchurch), loved brother-in-law of Dianne and Barry Le Compte. A loved friend of Brent (Nelson), and Dayl Rickerby (Qld) and much loved Gramps of Cameron and Katelyn, Tyler and Rebecca, (Christchurch), and Bonnie and Daniel Day and Riley and Chelsea (Brisbane). Thanks to the doctors and staff of Diana Isaac for their wonderful care and concern. Donations to Nurse Maude District Nursing Association may be made at the service or online at bit.ly/jking2802 and would be appreciated. Messages for the King family can be addressed c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. John has bequeathed his body to the Otago Medical School for research. A memorial service for John will be celebrated in St Saviour's at Holy Trinty, Lyttelton, 17 Winchester Street, Lyttelton, on Wednesday, March 7, 1.00pm.
