John IRWIN Obituary

Adored son of the late Jack and Dorothy, and brother to Mary and Bruce Francis, David and Wendy Irwin, and Julia and Chris Knowles, and a special 'stepdad' and mentor to Rose, Lily and Brett. John died peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on Sunday evening, May 25, 2025 in his 81st year, surrounded by his loving family. John will also be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces and cousins. A special thanks to friends, carers and hospital staff who have been his rock for many years.
