HUGHES, John Patrick:
(Formerly of Morven) Passed away peacefully at Lister Home, Waimate, on Friday, November 25, 2022; aged 78 years. Dearly loved son of the late Emmett and Sadie Hughes. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Mary and John Darling (Timaru), Peter (Morven), and Barbara and Michael Cleland (Warkworth). Loved uncle "Tojo" of Nina and Paul (Whangarei), Nadine and Peter (Sydney). A Requiem Mass for John will be held at St Patrick's Church, 1 Timaru Road, Waimate, on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Waimate Cemetery. Messages to: Peter Hughes, Maori Road, RD 10, Waimate 7980.

I always enjoyed my meetings with John on their Morven Farm, this was back in the 60's. RIP John.
