On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, suddenly at home; aged 83 years. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Helen (deceased) and Richard Clemett, Elizabeth Phillips (Taupo), Alison (deceased) and Roy Ealson, and Alan and Robbin, loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Messages to the Hinton family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A private family service will be held.

Sorry to hear it is the final farewell. John has been an active member of the Avon Tramping Club over many years, although lately only attending the monthly breakfast. We will all miss your company John. Sincere condolences to your family.
