It is with incredible sadness we announce the peaceful passing of John at Oamaru Hospital on May 1, 2025. Dearly loved husband of the late Anne; much loved father and father-in-law of Sandy and Rob, Leah and Kevin; loved Popakiss/Poppy of Bjana, Brogan, Billie and Oscar; great-Pop of Lexus, Walker, Cash, Grayson, Riley, and Makaiah.
You will leave a big hole in our lives. Love you Dad.

John was a true friend for 50 years not only at work but in life. We have many great memories of our time with John over the years, shared lots of laughs and good times with him and Anne. A sad time for all and he will be forever remembered.
