John HANNIFIN Obituary
John died on Saturday, September 7, 2019, after a sudden and short illness. He leaves behind his loving and loved wife and many loved and loving children and grandchildren and extended family and wonderful friends. We are very grateful for the exceptional, expert and compassionate care from Doctors, Nurses and support staff at the Palmerston North Public Hospital. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, 197 Broadway Ave, Palmerston North, on Thursday, September 12, at 10.00am. The Mass will be followed by a private burial.

To Margaret and Family it is with very sad heart I read recently in the paper of John passing I grew up in Waimate with him all though he was maybe two years old. His Parents Pat and Margaret were friends of my parents We live 300yards away I have lived in Palmerston North for forty years I court up afew times with him

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I worked with John for many years at MidCentral more closely in the last few years. He was a very positive, constructive and caring man who was so likeable and easy to engage with. I was so sad to hear of his sudden passing.
