Dear Lola,
We were so sad to hear of John's passing and truly sorry for your loss. We have really enjoyed working alongside John as he assisted with the Textile Care Association. He was always such a gentleman, so happy to see our family doing well in our business and very supportive of the laundry/dry cleaning business owners he encountered. Above all he was so proud of you and your family and we loved catching up at the meetings and again with you both over a meal at the end of every year. It was at this Christmas get together we saw John for the last time and true to form, he was upbeat, smiling and realistic about his life. We shall miss his guiding hand, humour, integrity and kindness so very much.
Heartfelt condolences from our family to yours,
Alan and Julie Borthwick

Dear Lola,
Sara, David, Eve, Tim and Family,
It was with sadness I learned from Janette, a former colleague, that John is on the other side and in peace I'm sure.
May you gather strength from one another and rejoice in happy memories.
Thinking of you all.
Love from Fay
