So sorry to hear of John`s passing. He was a great neighbour to our father and mother. I know Mum and Dad appreciated having him nextdoor and particularly enjoyed sharing in his enthusiasm for travel and war history. Our thoughts are with you Olive.

Someone who travelled internationally working with local governments once described John Gray as "the best city manager in the world." I was not disappointed when I met him.

He was a great listener and displayed a quick and incisive mind, not to mention a mischievous wit that lurked beneath the surface. He had a knack for bringing the best out of others. He is sorely missed.

A great friend of our fathers, the late Major Hugh MacDonald (RCR) of Ailsa Craig, Ontario Canada.
They served together and we grew up hearing the many great stories of their military accomplishments together.
Our thoughts are with you.

Pro Patria.
