Peacefully on February 2, 2022, in his 95th year. Much loved husband and soulmate of Dorothy for 67 years, and a dear father of Sarah, and Martin. Loved grandad of Alexander and Megan, and Helen; Jessamy, and David; and great-grandad of Jasper and Clara. Son of the late John (Jack) and Fanny Robertha (Bertha). Brother of Robert (Australia) and the late Jocelyn, Douglas, and Faith. Messages may be addressed to The family of the late John Godfrey, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Private Funeral has been held.

GODFREY, John:
Passed away on February 2, 2022. A true gentleman who was always interested and always interesting. John will be sorely missed by the Stretton family, the late Bob and Mary, Rob and Sandra of Whitianga, Martin and Laura of Beachlands, Jim and Ruth, and Josie of Conifer Grove. Our deepest sympathy to his darling wife Dorothy and their loving children, Sarah and Martin.
