Peacefully at Taurima Rest Home, on Sunday, 7 August 2022, aged 94. Dearly loved husband of the late Carol. Cherished father and father-in-law of Elise & Jeremy Smith, and Sarah Gledhill. Inspiring Grandad to Felicity, Edmund, Grant, Francis-John, David, and Travis. A private service has been held.

I had the privellage to care for John for a few years. our chats of Bullawayo , morning wake up "Goie more Minneer" always his smile. Smiley you can be with Carol and your Twin brother Jonathan. My deepest condolences to Elise and family , he loved you guys so much! He loved his chocolates and always happy
