You will be so missed. I will miss swapping wine with you but will enjoy a bottle of yours tonight. Great celebration of your life today. A story to share was going to the blossom festival and you got to Gore on your motorbike frozen it was snowing in central mum warmed you up with food and dad went and got an old army great coat covered in sawdust gave it a shake and off you went. Next day mum dad where walking past a heap of motorbikers when Aunty Dot and Uncle Russell rung out and a big hug infront of his mates. Thanks so much for the coat. Mum and Dad had a special spot for John along with us a fantastic cousin who would call me at Christmas that was special Love to all the Family

I knew John and Maree in the mid 70's, in Invercargill.
He was building a fishing boat at the time, and was doing a fine job.
They were living in Stobo Street, Grasmere or thereabouts.
He was a lovely person.

It is with sadness I read of John's passing. Although I haven't seen John for many years I remember fondly growing up together and
the many visits that John loved on our farm in Waimumu.
My condolences to Maree and the family.
