John FREEAR Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Burwood Hospital, aged 87. Beloved husband of the late Jeanette, dearly loved brother of Derek and Diane, and brother-in-law of Patricia, John, and Albert. Fondly remembered as a great friend to many, and as a treasured uncle and great-uncle by Jimmy, Sara, Laura, Sophie, Amy, Peter, Sue and their families. Also dearly missed by his loyal companion, Lottie. The family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Burwood Hospital for the gentle and attentive care given to Barry. A service to celebrate Barry's life will be held in The Canterbury Chapel, 447 Linwood Ave (corner of Linwood Ave and Keighleys Rd) Thursday, September 18, at 11.00am, to be followed by a private cremation.
