John FLEMING Obituary

On July 16, 2024. Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Val. Much loved father and father-in-law of Martin and Ali, Robin and Lesley, Nigel and Sara, and Wendy and Steve. Adored Poppy of his 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Messages to the Fleming family, PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A celebration of John's life will be held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Havelock Street, Ashburton, on Saturday, July 20, commencing at 2.00pm followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.

John was a proper, kind, very successful Gentleman as he was much respected and loved. I know John loved Val and family very much. I doubt John had any regrets, as he loved life and people. was sociable and enjoyed having fun.

I have such wonderful memories of our harvesting and shooting.
John was my mentor and gave me the will to extend my energy in so many parts of my life, he will never be forgotten for his dedication and commitment to everything he was involved in. A wonderful man

Passed away July 16, 2024. Aged 87. Dearly loved eldest son of the late Alan and Amy Fleming. Treasured brother and brother-in-law of the late Alison and Colin Crampton: the late Beverley and Alan Wilson: the late Neil Fleming; Colin and Anne Fleming; the late David, and Allison Fleming. Loved Uncle of all his nephews and nieces.
