Passed away peacefully on July 4, at Elmswood Rest Home. Adored husband of the late Gillian, much loved father and mate of James and Martine, good friend of Judy and loved grandad and great-grandad.

Messages for the Falconer family may be sent to 58 Coleridge Street, Sydenham, Christchurch 8023. In keeping with John's wishes a Private Cremation has been held.

I was very sad to read of John's passing. My ex-husband & i lived next door to him & Gilly in St Albans Street & had many good times. Now gone to be with her, I hope you all wore some of his shoes at the service as you did at Gilly's . Condolences to James, Martine & families.
