Condolences to Mary and Frith. I remember with fondness working with John particularly during your time in Queenstown. May your memories of him give you joy as the two most important woman in his life.

Heartfelt condolences Mary & Frith. One of life's real gentlemen who had the respect and love of all of us in Queenstown who worked with or were associated with John over many years. He brought his love of repertory and a wicked sense of humour to the workplace, regaling us with great stories of days past. He loved to tell us about his topdressing days and I used to get the feeling that he was most happy when he was aloft, doing his thing in an aircraft (never a 'plane'). However we all knew he loved you both more than anything else in the world. All the best Mary and Frith and families as you deal with the loss.

To Mary, Fritha and family. So sad to read of John's passing in the paper today.
He was a great boss to us in Queenstown and we had a lot of laughs and fun over the years.
Much love, Janet Turnbull
