John DUNSMUIR Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital ICU after surgery, on April 11, 2026, aged 67. Cherished husband of Allison for 36 years. Son of the late David and Sheila, brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Cristina, and uncle of Cheska and Caiden. Cared for well over the years, latterly by LifePlus staff who knew how to make him laugh and to sometimes operate his computer. Donations in John's memory can be made to the NZ Spinal Trust, at www.nzspinaltrust.org.nz. A cremation has taken place. People who knew John are welcome to an informal celebration of his life.
