(Maurice John):
It is with deep sadness that we advise that our much loved husband and father passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on April 19, 2022. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Helen (Glubb). Loved father and father-in-law to Maria and Guy, Gerard and Giuliana, Greg and Sinead, Jonathan and Damienne. Adored grandad of Jacob, Thomas, Gina, Mattia, Chiara, Mia, Ruby, Elise, Chloe, Charlotte and Henry. Loved son of the late Jean and Robert Donaldson, Ngahere. Loved brother and brother-in- law to Paul and Barbara (dec), Velma and Barney, Gordon and Lissa, Helen and Glen Rutherford, Sue and Tim (dec) Teen, Pauline (dec) and John Duxbury, David and Robyn Glubb, Sharon and George Cockburn, Brian and Philippa Glubb, Mary and Michael Sullivan, Michael and Kay Glubb. Much adored Uncle to all his nieces and nephews, and friend to many. A special thank you to all those involved in his care. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John at Christ the King Catholic Church, Greers Road, Christchurch, on Tuesday, April 26 at 2.00pm. A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 25 at 6.00pm.
