John DIERCKX Obituary

Unexpectedly at home, on October 11, 2025, aged 61 years. Dearly loved husband of Alieke, and much loved Dad of Ben, Thomas, and Noah. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Dierckx, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service for John will be held at Westpark, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday, October 21, at 10.00am, followed by private interment.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. John always made us smile and made us feel welcome. It was always a pleasure to see him. We are extremely sad he was taken home to God so soon and will miss knowing he's here. May he now be at peace in God's loving arms and may God's love surround you and the boys. Love Diana and Ernie.

I met John for the first time when he came to play music with Robin for my brother Charles when he passed away. Thank you John for for giving your time to play music for us. I'm so sorry for John's family and friends and the Ellesmere big band, I'm sure John will be so missed. RIP. John and thank you so very much
