John CRESTANI Obituary

Aged 94, died peacefully on December 29, 2024, at Dame Malvina Major in Wellington. Husband of Lesley, cherished father and father-in-law of Peter and Angela, Bede and Elspeth, Barbara and Terry, Fiona and Gerhard, and Kate and Peter. Dearly loved and devoted grandfather to Ella, Freya, James, Sophia (dec), Frances, Giovanna, Mari-Claire, Ben, Josh, Eve, Beth, and Marcus. He was also dearly loved by his extended family in Italy. A memorial service for John will be held at a later date.

Our thoughts are with you all, Crestani family, when remembering times back in Rangiora. John used to take turns leading singing from the pulpit at Sunday masses in St Frances de Sales church, along with John van Til. And then there was the High Street dry-cleaning business. Lovely memories of yester-years.
We are treasured families to have such wonderful fathers and leaders to take us through life.
