John CREIGHTON Obituary
CREIGHTON, John Neville: Died peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Beverley. Much loved father and father-in-law of Michelle and Richard, the late Jeanine and Stuart, John and Sandra, Anita and Kevin. Loved grandfather of his nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

John was my coach in 1989, taking the Canterbury University Under 19 team to a Championship victory. That was my most enjoyable rugby season, and I am grateful to John for the role he played. RIP John.

John was my coach when playing for Canterbury University back in the 1970s and I well remember his encouragement from the sidelines! Probably the best rugby season of my life. Just heard of his death now. All the best to the family.
