Heather and Family
I was so sorry to learn last evening that your precious John had passed. We have been away travelling for 9 weeks and sadly did not hear about it. Please accept my sincere condolences...John was an incredible man who hugely influenced my career. He was a beautiful person and an inspiring leader who contributed so much to education and to those involved. Hold tight to those precious memories. Uncle John was always so kind, warm and considerate. He and Heather have been so generous in time, as well as other ways, to me and to my son Ethan. He will be missed dearly. Thinking of all my extended family at this sad time.

I think this is John Clough who was a lecturer at Christchurch Teachers College in the 1960s. He was so forward thinking and so passionate about setting us trainees up to be successful teachers. I learnt so much from him. Sympathy to his wife and family.
