John BYERS Obituary

On July 31, 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully at home, aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of Patricia for 60 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Lynley and Craig Mead, David, Andrew, Mathew and Sandy, and the late Sarah, loved brother and brother-in-law of Hazel and Bruce Martin, treasured Granddad of Michael and Rowena, and Amelia; Grace; Bede, and Meg and Hamish; Paige, Alexander, Kim, and Ashleigh, Great-Granddad of Roddy, and Peyton, loved uncle of Alister, and Chris. The funeral service for John will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Wednesday, August 7 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.
