John BROWNLEE Obituary
On November 9, 2024, John passed away peacefully at Kensington Court Rest Home, Nelson, aged 95 years. Loved former husband of the late Shirley. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Claire and Geoff, Janet and Alex, Ross and Edna, Alex, Rachel and Steve, and a loved Grandad, Great-Grandad and Great-Great-Grandad. Also, dearly loved brother of Elizabeth, brother to George and Dean. Sincere thanks to the staff of Kensington Court for their compassionate care of John. Messages may be addressed to the Brownlee family, c/- 44 King Street, Richmond 7020 or on the Legacy site. In accordance with John's wishes, a private cremation has been held.

My sincere condolences to you all. What a great age and I´m sure you will have many happy memories. I remember visiting him at the farm at Havelock in the 70´s and picking up orphan
