John BROWN Obituary

(Formerly of Scargill, and Mossburn). On Friday, December 6, 2024, at home in Amberley, after a short illness, aged 84 years. Loved husband of Caryl for 53 years, loved Dad and father-in-law of Chris and Jackie, Al and Mel, Ray and Victoria, adored Grandad of William, Lauren, Blake, Scarlett, Murphy, and Millie, loved brother and brother-in-law of Elizabeth and Owen Davies, loved uncle, godfather, brother-in-law, and friend to many. A special thanks to Nurse Maude, Amberley District nurses, and Amberley Medical Centre, for their care and professionalism. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late John Brown, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The celebration of John's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Tuesday, December 10, at 2.30pm. Private cremation thereafter.
