On February 4, 2017, peacefully at Brookhaven Retirement Village. Beloved husband to Diane for thirty years, beloved father of Mark, Scott, Dean (deceased) and Justin, and a loved grandfather. Thanks to the staff at Brookhaven for their care of John in the final stage of his life. Messages c/- the Brooks family to PO Box 35046, Christchurch 8640. A private celebration of John's life has been held.
