On October 12, 2017, at Ashburton Hospital after a short illness, aged 80 years. Husband of the late Patricia. Loved father and father-in-law of Stewart and Paula, Roger and Susan, Heather and Garth Payne, and Cheryl Fraser. Grandad to 6 grandchildren.
