John Bernard Travis:
On March 7, 2022, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 78 years. Dearly loved husband of Marie Glenys, and the late Ann, beloved dad and father-in-law of Jane, Nick and Helen, loved Grandpa of Emily and William, loved brother-in-law of Sally and Michael, Simon and Mary, Noel and Jane, Glenda and Terry, and Ian and Tanya. Special thanks to Dr Jim Edwards and the staff at St George's Cancer Care, Dr Graeme Wesley, and Nurse Maude Hospice and Palliative Care Service for their care and support. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late John Barrett, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated, and may be made online at: nursemaude.org.nz/product/nurse-maude-donation/. Anthea and I were saddened to hear of John's Death.
Our fond memories go back about 50 years.
We now live in the North Island and were unaware of his illness. Our thoughts are with you all.
