On behalf of the Chch Clef Music Club (now called Music Alive) I pass on condolences to his family and friends. Frank & Pat were members of the club where he ran the suppers and baked the xmas cake for many years - this was always appreciated by the club and committee. In his later years I used to pick him up in the evening so he could enjoy the concerts. He was a lovely positive and friendly man, my sons used to enjoy chatting with him while travelling in the car.

Sad to here that Frank has passed away. My condolences to all his family members. I Used to work with Frank in the NZED Addington Test Room as a test technician in the late 60's & early 70's. Frank was a good friend and workmate & was a very smart & knowledgeable person indeed. I remember in the past that I was standing talking to Frank in 1969 at his work desk when we heard the radio news that man had landed on the moon. I was a junior technician when I first started in the Test Room & Frank took me "under his wing" and acted as a tutor & mentor which I will be forever grateful for his help & interest. If anyone wanted to to ask a technical question then Frank was the person to ask. He was very highly respected & regarded by all his NZED workmates. I will have fond memories of Frank for the rest of my life.
