Passed away peacefully on 9th April 2025, aged 76. Much loved husband of Louise, treasured Dad of Michael & Andrea, Miranda & Craig, Opa of 3 grandchildren. Please accept our condolences Louise
and family on the passing of your beloved husband,father and opa. Hans is at peace now after all the suffering he has had to bare and we hope you are able to remember all the happy times you had together.
I know we didn't always see eye to eye but know one wishes the suffering Hans has had to bare on anyone.
May he rest in peace.

We are so sad to hear about the passing of Hans. Condolences to the family, especially Louise. We will never forget how kind Hans and Lousie were to our father and mother before they passed. They provided great friendships and help being neighbours of Dad at Ohaupo. Hans will be a great loss to anyone he met due to his caring and understanding nature. With love Dean, Sandra and 3 girls
