Johannes Maria (John):
On April 17, 2022, John passed away, peacefully, at Bainswood House, aged 93 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Joyce, loving father and father-in-law of Julie and Mal, John and Karina, and Peter and Wendy, loving Opa of Mark, and Melissa; Matt, and Tom; Dane, Scott, and Greer, and loving Old Opa of Deacon, Miley, Kaleb, Isobel, Rosie, Delilah, Finn, Mercedes, Emjay, Charlie, Leo, and River. Many thanks to the staff at Bainswood for their wonderful, loving care of John. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late John Lubbe, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dementia Canterbury would be appreciated and may be made online at bit.ly/jmlubbe1704. The Funeral Mass for John will be celebrated in St Mary and St Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Chervier Centre, 41 Victoria Street, Rangiora, on Tuesday, April 26, at 11.00am.
