SYMONS, Joel James - On December 27, 2012 (suddenly). Dearly loved son of Grant (Kaniere Hotel, Hokitika) and Wendy James (Perth, formerly Westport), loved brother of Dion (also of Perth, formerly Westport), devoted father of Mykaelajh, Lyriq, and Ryder, loved grandson of Jim and Evelyn Symons, the late Marcia Symons, Fay Phibbs and the late Colin James, and Jack Phibbs, and loved by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joel's Funeral Service will be held at the FW Hagedorn Memorial Chapel, 123 Derby Street, Westport, on Friday, January 4, at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment at the Orowaiti Cemetery.
