Joan STRINGER Obituary

On Sunday, June 16, 2024, surrounded by immediate family, Joan passed away peacefully at Bupa Ballarat Rest Home, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Bob, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Gaynor and the late David, Tracey and Grant, and Amanda and Duncan. Loved grandmother of Cameron, Chelsea, Bradley, Melissa, Nicole, Hannah, and Emma, and great-grandmother of Drew, Madeline, Caitlin, Lucas, Hunter, Mackenzie, Monty, Skyla, and Cooper. Loved companion to her canine friend Albert. Loved daughter of the late Wilfred and Elsie Yates, daughter-in-law of the late Charles and Edith, loved sister and sister-of-law of Ethel, and the late John Minton. Sister-in-law of the late Brian and June Stringer, and dearly loved aunty and great-aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Burwood Hospital, and Bupa Ballarat Rest Home for their compassionate care of Joan.
