On April 7, 2025, at Essie Summers Retirement Village with whanau at her side; aged 96 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Rakena Piripi Rakena. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Nola and Jim, Kenny and Kate, Robin and Harry, Judith (Dec) and Alan, Paula (Dec) and Percy. Much loved Nan/Taua of Jeremy, Michelle, Daniel, Jamie, Kara and their respective families. Loved great-grandmother of Jasmyn, Levi, Shavorn, Mia, Ariana, Lucy and Jasper.
