HOMER, Joan Caroline:
Peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on November 1, 2014, after a very short illness. Aged 102 years. Much loved wife of the late Stanley. Treasured mother of Jeanette, Jillian, Ross and the late Glenys. Mother-in-law and friend to Gus, Anne and the late Alan. Big sister of Beryl and the late Royd, Ivan, Peter and Raie. Grandmother of Joanne, Ric, Mark, Vivienne, Rachel, Pamela and the late Jacqueline. A very special great-grandmother

to fourteen treasures. Messages for The
Homer Family, c/- 19 London Street, Richmond, Christchurch 8013. A funeral service will be held in the hall of her church, St Barnabas, corner of Fendalton Road and Tui Street, Christchurch, Tomorrow (Friday), at 1.00pm.

A gracious lady whom I remember from my childhood, always kind and gentle. I wish you all happy memories and the joy of knowing your Mother was aware of your care for her. what a great age.
