Joan HAZLEHURST Obituary

On November 19, 2024. Loved daughter of Jack and Morag (dec). Cherished wife and best friend of Fraser Burridge (dec), former wife of Owen Wilkes (dec). Loving mother of Koa Wilkes (dec), and sister of Marion Gilbert (dec). Treasured sister of Ron Hazlehurst and Vivienne Martini. Special aunt of Ian, Paul and Diane; Dylan and Erika; Lukas and Mary; Julian and Vanessa; and Sophie and Konstantin, and a loving great-aunt to their children. A good friend to many, especially Margaret, Wendy, Anne, Biddy and Patsy. No flowers please, but a donation to a charity of your choice made in Joan's name would be appreciated.

Messages for the Hazlehurst Family may be sent to PO Box 26112, Christchurch 8148. The Celebration Service for Joan will commence at the Canterbury Crematorium Chapel, cnr of Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, Christchurch, on Saturday, November 23, at 1.00pm, followed by a function at Winnie Bagoes, Ferrymead.

I just heard about Joan's passing! Since Covid, I'd not been able to stay in touch. She was the best Grandma2 to her step-grandkids and the times spent with her may be few and far between, but always treasured by us here in Singapore. xoxo Lisa, Liam and Skylar.
