To Paul and family, as a ex neighbour I would like to offer my condolences in the passing of Joan. I hadn't seen you for years until my brother, the late Alan, organised a club visit to your historic home a few years ago. Kind regards, Ross.

Our thoughts are with your family at this time. It's hard when your mum dies, but you have hope for reunion with her at the resurrection. She was a faithful friend of God and a shining light in the neighborhood.

Fond memories of all that Joan, Paul and family did at arranging and running the combined Methodist & Presbyterian Easter camps all those years ago at "Journeys End".
Also how they have welcomed visitors to their property Murchiston.
Always generous with their time.

Sorry to hear of Joan's passing. Have many fond memories of Joan through Girls' Brigade especially training days and camps. Also our times staying at Merchiston - girls from 1st Greymouth really enjoyed the experience. Our thoughts are with Paul and extended family. Many thanks for the opportunity to able to attend her service via live stream as unable to attend in person. Helen and Les Rezepecky

My deepest sympathies to Mrs Beaumont´s family, she was an amazing woman who gave so much to others and will be greatly missed.
Mrs Beaumont was a big part of my youth, first as a scripture teacher, then as a Girls´ Brigade leader and Sunday school teacher. When I look back, I´m filled with awe at the huge well of kindness, love, and patience she had; and boy did we test that patience.
I´ll be forever thankful to have known Joan Beaumont, and for the important life lessons she taught me through example.

With much sympathy from us, I have remembered her for many years with the children wanting to walk through the property, as young children, and us being able to collect water at the artesian well, and take her fruit cake and muffins . please give our sympathy to her husband and family.

I was so sad to hear about Joan´s passing but alongside that I could see her big beaming smile as she surveyed heaven for the first time. One of my favourite memories is at a working bee for Beckenham fair and hearing her tinkling laugh as a bobbin thread finished at the end of the row of sewing and the colour of the thread underneath was the colour she needed next. Her words, "little miracles are happening around me all the time," come back to me at times I need to hear them. She lived a beautiful, caring, giving life and added to the lives of many. My heart is with you as you balance the sadness of her moving on and the joy for all she was
