ANDERSON, Joan Kathleen:
On April 2, 2018, peacefully at Allen Bryant Lifecare, Hokitika, in her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Aussie Anderson, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Christine and Ian Jones (Hokitika), Avon (Ashburton), Philip and Karen (Melbourne). Loved grandma of Arron and Caroline, Olivia and Joe; Lisa, Rebecca and Danny, Chantal, Jasmine; Jeremy and Katie, Lee and Shareen, Shane and Melissa. Loved great-granny of Camden, Millen, Jai, Kayla, Jacob, Caitlin, Paige, Maddison, Harper, Seth, Aleera and Ayla. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Jim and the late Elsie Manera, the late Alice and Ed Keown, Bill and Marie Manera. Messages to 10 Alpine View, Hokitika 7810. A Requiem Mass for Joan will be celebrated at The Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Seaview Terrace, Hokitika, on Friday, April 6, commencing at 10.30am. Following the Mass, Joan will be laid to rest with her husband Aussie, in the Returned Services Section No. 2 at the Hokitika Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary at Thompsons Riverview Chapel, 88 Gibson Quay, on Thursday evening, at 6.00pm.
