Peacefully at home in Christchurch, on January 24, 2026, aged 86. Dearly loved partner of the late Stu Buchanan. Loved mother of Kirby and partner Jet (Christchurch), David and Celia (Melbourne), and Andrew and Louise (Tanunda, Barossa Valley, Australia). Loved grandmother of Maddison and Alex (Melbourne), and Daniel and Kelly (Christchurch). Loved extra family of Lyn and Kere Buchanan and former wife and friend of Bill and Gloria Fenton (Australia). Messages to the family of Jill Fenton, c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. (Note: the change of venue) A celebration of Jill's life will be held in the Canterbury Chapel, corner Linwood Avenue and Keighleys Road, on Saturday, January 31, at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.
