Jill Orman (nee Wood):
Peacefully departed with family and friends by her side, at Hospice Marlborough, on Saturday February 18, 2017. Much-loved wife of Lindsay, only daughter of the late Nan and George Wood (Granity), stepmum of Michael and Lucy, and David and Leen. Messages may be sent to the Fraser Family, C/- PO Box 110, Blenheim 7240. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Marlborough would be appreciated and may be made at the service or sent to PO Box 411, Blenheim 7240.

A service for Jill will be held at the Mayfield Chapel, cnr Hutcheson and Parker Streets, Blenheim at 2.00pm, Wednesday, February 22, followed by cremation at the Sowman Crematorium.

Ah, Jilly, my sister-in-law (and therefore big sister) for many years, what an amazing and inspiring woman she was. She was brave and fierce with her love with a deep, bottomless heart. This world is a lesser place without her presence in it.

Just a absolutely lovely lady, we enjoyed every moment we had together. Jilly was the person our kids went to when studying in Wgtn they adored her as she adored them. An unique person there will be no others like her. Jill will always have a special place in our hearts.

Jill was the best Aunty you could ever ask for, kind honest and forgiving oh and so so funny, she took me in as a naive 18yr old and taught me how to iron a shirt and how to boil an egg, later Lindsay and Jill took myself and my new wife Kelly into their home on our honeymoon it was a great night about 7 bottles of wine later I got the classic cuddle and a huge kiss. We will never forget you we love you Jill and Lindsey!!
