Jesse JAMES Obituary

On March 24, 2026, peacefully at Bainswood on Victoria, Rangiora; aged 81 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Benjamin and Michelle, and Ronald and Eran, a loved Grandad of Xavier and Ezra, and a lifetime friend of Carmel Kavanagh. Messages for the James Family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Funeral Service for Jesse will be held in Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, Tomorrow (Sunday), March 29, at 3.00pm.

Died peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 in Rangiora, surrounded by love. Brother-in-law and companion to our mother Marion James, loved and cherished uncle of Martin, Sarah and Nigel, and loved by their children and grandchildren. We were privileged to have Jesse in our lives, especially in the last few years. Jesse was a good sort with a great sense of humour and a wonderful help mate to Marion. May he rest in peace.

Passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026; aged 81 years. Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Liz and John Jarvis. Much loved uncle of May and Rosie, and great-uncle of Ella, Flynn, Liam, Paige and Quinn.

Loved and remembered always. Forever in our hearts.

Passed peacefully at Bainswood, Rangiora, on March 24, 2026. Dearly loved 5th son of the late Digger and Dot James. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Neville (dec), Malcolm (dec) and Hazel, Graeme (dec), Wayne (dec) and Marion, Tony and Pat (Auckland), Sandra and Darryl Smith (Amberley), Phillip (dec), Liz and John Jarvis (Blenheim). Loved uncle and great-uncle of all his nephews and nieces.
