his life but ours. So I join you all in the knowledge he will be our eternal, endearing friend on this earth until we join him again to relish the laughter, loyalty, love, respect and prospiscience he so unequivocally shared.
What a friend, what a man.
My deepest heartfelt condolences, love and respect to Karen, you kids and close-knit family. Beyond the sunset and beyond belief.

I've just heard of this terrible news, while traveling in Africa. I have known Jens for 20 plus years thru old cars. I have always found him fun to be around, open to chatting about anything and very friendly. What so sad news that his healthy fun-loving life should be ended this way.
I will make every attempt to be at his send off. Andy Fox 027 5199642

We are so sorry to learn of Jens tragic passing in a accident over the weekend. Jens was a lovely chap and real character. He was so helpful after the 2011 Christchurch earthquake in helping us relocate into one of his properties at the Cavendish Road Business Park.
We had many long conversations about motorcycles and also the motorcycle section of the VCC Canterbury and it was great to catch up with him again when I joined the the motorcycle section. Jens will be missed and never forgotten.
Our sympathy and deepest condolences to Jens' family.

I was very saddened to hear of tragic passing of Jens. My sincere condolences to Karen and families. In the early days of scuba diving in the Canterbury Underwater Club as a dive instructor, I taught Jens to dive and certified his proficiency. Along with other club members we used to often take Jens diving with us. He was a cheerful and friendly person with a great sense of humour and mixed well with other divers. He has been on the committee for many years and made a significant and valuable contribution to the management of the club. He will be sadly missed. I will have fond memories of the fun times we have had with Jens. Brian Ayres

Karen and Family,
I can name certain people that have made a huge impact throughout my life, and Jens is most certainly one of them. I truly valued our phone conversations and our rides together, on our MOT motorcycles.
He made such a difference in my life, for which I am truly grateful for every moment I spent with Jens. I learnt a lot from his wisdom, and always valued his advice.
I will truly miss Jens, I will never forget him, he was one of the rock stars in life, that I truly admired.
